Top Illusionist Set to Bring Magic and Wonder to Dubuque

One of the most popular and beloved illusionists in the world is taking his talents to Dubuque come 2023!

The renowned Bill Blagg is bring his show to the University of Dubuque's (UD) Heritage Center on January 13, 2023. "The Magic of Bill Blagg Live!" will show the Tri-States "the impossible" at 7:30pm. The show marks the 10th anniversary series of live entertainment at UD Heritage Center.

Blagg has become famous for incredible acts, such as teleporting across theaters, contorting and squishing his body, and passing through an industrial fan's blades just to name a few jaw-dropping feats. His brand of illusionism must e seen to be believed.

UD Heritage Center confirmed that a free pre-show reception will be in store for those who come out to see Blagg's logic-defying magic, per a press release:

A free pre-show reception for “Hint of Spring: Photos by Chuck Isenhart, Gerald Podraza, and Debra Runkle” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Bisignano Art Gallery, Heritage Center. The exhibit will be open Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, through Friday, Jan. 27, 2023.

 

Tickets for "The Magic of Bill Blagg Live!" can be purchased from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as 90 minutes prior to events, at the Farber Box Office at UD Heritage Center (located at 2255 Bennett Street). You can also call 563-585-SHOW, or visit their website here.
