Hundreds of thousands of tulips will be on display in different venues and cities across Iowa this spring! We've got details on all of the upcoming tulip festivals here in the Hawkeye State.

The two biggest annual tulip festivals in Iowa are definitely Tulip Time in Pella and the Orange City Tulip Festival over in the far Northwest portion of the state. But, those aren't the ONLY places to see beautiful tulips this spring! Here are details on tulip festivals happening across Iowa in 2026:

Tulip Time, Pella

Pella's annual Tulip Time Festival is held the first Thursday through Saturday in May, which is May 7th through 9th of 2026. According to the event website, the tulips "are intentionally planted to be at their best during Tulip Time," with more than 300,000 of them spread throughout the town! You can also buy fresh tulips at several businesses around the festival.

Admission and the majority of the events at Tulip Time are free for attendees, including twice-daily parades, live entertainment, a fireworks display, and the Dutch Craft Market, but there are additional activities that do require tickets. Some of those ticketed activities are the open-air wagon tours of the city, the Quilt Show, the Art Show, seating for the afternoon Grandstand performances, and tours of the Vermeer Windmill & other historical attractions. You can check out a full rundown of events and purchase tickets HERE.

In addition to the colorful tulips, the festival features a ton of other events and activities, including the Tour de Tulips Bicycle Ride, a craft show, the twice-daily Volksparadehorse-drawn trolley tours, live entertainment, an antique tractor show, and much more.
