Sundown Mountain’s Annual Job Fair and Open House Details

Well, like it or not, snow is coming.  As the old saying goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  So when life gives you snow, go skiing!

While I’m not usually excited about shoveling, Mark from Sundown Mountain definitely got me a little excited for the upcoming ski and snowboard season.  Sundown is getting you ready over the next couple of weeks with a couple of events you may want to check out!

Saturday from 9am until noon you can stop by the North Lodge at Sundown Mountain at 16991 Asbury Road in Dubuque and check out their annual job fair.  They have a friendly staff and flexible hours, so if you’re looking for some extra Christmas cash or a little extra work this winter stop out.

Sundown will feature both indoor and outdoor positions with great benefits (including FREE skiing).  From Chairlift Operator, Snowmaker to Ski Instructor outdoors… to Rental Technicians, Kitchen Services and Switchboard Operators indoors, there’s something for everyone.

Then Sunday, November 9^th stop back out at Sundown from 9am to 4pm for their annual Open House Ski & Snowboard Swap event!  You’ll enjoy live music and win prizes, plus it’s the last day they offer a $100 discount on a season pass!

Shop supervisors will also inspect your equipment and get it ready for the slopes.  You can buy and sell gently used equipment or get some new gear for the slopes, too!

Sundown Mountain does feature lessons, so maybe it’s time to take up a new hobby this winter.
