One day after finding out Major League Baseball still planned to play the Field of Dreams game in Dyersville in August, more of the details are starting to leak.  Bruce Levine, a baseball analyst for a sports radio station in Chicago, says the Cardinals will replace the Yankees as the White Sox's opponent in the game.

The change comes as MLB begins training camps for the abbreviated 60-game season scheduled to start later this month.  As part of the condensed season, schedulemakers have reportedly put greater emphasis on division and regional games, so that teams wouldn't have to travel as much.  In theory, this would lessen the chances that players, coaches and other team staff might contract the Coronavirus.

MLB, the White Sox and the Cardinals have not yet commented on the rumors.

This news comes one day after minor league baseball officials cancelled their 2020 season, stating that the major league teams did not plan to provide players that would allow for a season.
