Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting Shelby, a four-and-a-half-year-old, 93-pound pub currently in foster care. Due to her reactivity towards men, Shelby desires a female human companion in her life.

Shelby is ready for her forever human; a lovely lady who will give her the crunchy treats she enjoys. Shelby also enjoys splashing around in water, followed by a long, restful nap. Despite her preference for females, she is very affectionate and loyal to those who give her love.

With the weather quickly warming, Shelby would love to go on a long walk with her human, and adore it even more if the walk ended with some splash-time (start scouting a good area for a kiddie pool in your backyard).

At this time, Shelby's adoption fees have been lowered to just $25, making her a real bargain if you choose to welcome her into your home at this time.
